On June 11, 2011, Rick Stevens and ASR Studios in Bakersfield, California held a benefit recording session at American Sound Recording Studios called "Bakersfield Jamz For Carter." This event was designed to raise money for young Carter, a 3 year old who is suffering from Eosinophilic Esophagitis – a very rare, complicated, and complex disease... The music community in Bakersfield reached out. There were several acts that donated their time, talent and original music to help this cause. And, because of them, we are very pleased to offer this compilation CD of some of the best talent in the southern San Joaquin Valley! 100% of the proceeds from the sales of this CD will go straight to Carter, and for research for this disease of which there is no cure.
